Walker, Bill

A policy professional with over 40 years’ experience in industry policy development, Bill has led the development of numerous industry strategies and initiatives including the Advanced Manufacturing 10-Year Roadmap and Action Plan. His current areas of responsibility encompass renewable energy developments, procurement policy and local content and the promotion of Queensland manufacturing to encourage investment into Queensland and career opportunities in the industry. Bill lives in inner North Brisbane where he is surrounded by an ever growing selection of breweries and distilleries.
