Presented by Ben Kitcher, Executive Director, Research and Technology, Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (part of the Western Parkland City Authority)
The Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) will be a state-of-the-art facility. It will connect manufacturers with world-class technologies and opportunities in Western Sydney, an area renowned for its thriving manufacturing presence.
Backed by a $300 million investment from NSW Government, the AMRF will be the first of its kind in Australia, providing a unique offering that will bring industry, research, and education to the heart of Bradfield City Centre. Located on the doorstep of the new Western Sydney International Airport opening in 2026, the AMRF will be perfectly placed to accelerate business growth and unlock global manufacturing opportunities.
The Facility will enable manufacturing businesses to develop solutions for technical manufacturing problems, pursue research-led manufacturing advancements, upskill staff and scale business operations quickly, affordably, and to the highest industry standards.
The AMRF will come to life in two stages, and with Stage 1 scheduled to open later this year there are numerous opportunities for manufacturing businesses to get involved now.
Executive Director of Research and Technology, Ben Kitcher, will provide an update on the First Building, detail the unique service offering, and explain how businesses of all sizes can benefit from this once-in-a-generation opportunity.
